Fusion Youth Theatre is now up and running, and will also be offering the Arts Award for Young People. This is a new scheme set up by the Arts Council England in association with Trinity Guildhall College of Music to enable young people to gain qualifications in the arts.

Weekly Sessions

Our two groups run every Wednesday Evening at the
Shooting Fish Theatre Rehearsal Rooms
Behind Twinkles Fancy Dress Shop in Cleethorpes
(opposite the Memorial Hall)

Wednesday: 6.00pm - 7.30pm for Ages 7 - 12
Wednesday: 7.30pm – 9.00pm for Ages 13 +

The workshops are drama based but incorporating a variety of different
art forms. Young people have the opportunity to try new things and
learn new skills at their own pace and are not pressured to try anything
they are not comfortable with. Artists ensure each young person is
catered for individually and help them identify their personal
challenge.

It is encouraged that young people attending the weekly workshops consider taking an award at some point, however this is not compulsory.
Anyone aged 11 - 25 can work towards an Arts Award qualification
through these groups if they so wish.

Cost

There is a weekly fee of £2 for each participant, this money goes
straight back into the running of the youth group and will pay for equipment, materials, guest artists etc.

Each time a young person reaches the final stages of their bronze, silver or
gold award they will be asked to pay a £10 accreditation fee.
(This is subsidised by Fusion, normal fees are between £12 - £25)

Anyone who wishes to apply for a bursary or financial assistance can do so
though the application form.
