Job Opportunity - Arts Administrator

Want to become part of an exciting professional arts team? Fusion are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to become their new arts administrator. The position is part time, with the opporunty for extra hours (and extra pay), for a 12 month contract, with a review after 6 months. See below for full job description and salary:

Fusion Theatre & Arts Productions Ltd is a young and exciting professional arts company who currently work across the country in a variety of high quality, innovative projects.

Fusion is growing fast and we are seeking to appoint a part time Arts Administrator who will:

• Help secure external funding and sponsorship for the company, for existing and future projects.
• Be actively involved in developing new projects and initiatives with the company and build relationships with other arts professionals/companies.
• Maintain the office paperwork and filing.
• Assist with financial administration including accounts.
• Create letters, documents, databases and mailing lists.
• Visit projects when possible and attend meetings to take minutes.
• Demonstrate an ability to work independently, keeping self up to date with projects and managing them efficiently, working to deadlines and taking the initiative to find new ways of moving the company forward.
• Deal with communications via phone, email and post.
• Actively promote Fusions services and secure work for the company.
• Be involved in the evaluation of projects.
• Carry out other administrative tasks required by the company.

Fusions office is based at the Ropewalk Arts Centre (Fathom Works) in Barton upon Humber, the Administrator will need to be responsible for their own transport and may need to travel to meetings/projects.
The post is for 12 months with a review after 6 months. There is the potential for extra hours (fully paid) during this time and we hope to secure further funding to finance future employment in this post after the 12 months.

21 hours per week, days/hours to be arranged, possibility of flexible time.
Salary £9,000.00.
