This year young people in North East Lincolnshire can sign up to a fantastic summer school project, 2 weeks in August, working towards an amazing Japanese style production! Fusion Youth Theatres summer schools are always very popular so sign up now to garuntee a place on the project!

Yes we are already recruiting for our large Christmas show! It will be here before you know it...so sign up now! ALL of the groups will be performing dance, drama and singing to bring our own version of A Christmas Carol to the stage this festive season! Local young actors, dancers and singers can come and get involved in this fantastic project...

Fusion are once again organising The Buzz - an amazing four week arts festival for young people in North Lincolnshire. There will be a huge range of events and activities in the festival including arts and crafts workshops, media projects, play in a week, rock masterclass and the grand finale production of The Monkey King!

Fusion Youth Theatre present their amazing evning of dance - 'Impact' - which will be performed on Fri 25th & Sat 26th July, 7.30pm at the Grimsby Central Hall on the main stage! Lead by our brand new choreographer, Alison Traill, our dance students have been working hard to bring this great piece of dance theatre to the stage.

Fusion Youth Theatre have an excellent reputation for providing young people with high quality theatre projects.
Fusion are welcoming new members to come along and get involved in brand new projects after the Easter holidays, there are a variety of options to choose from, catering from 4 year olds to those in their 20's!
We try to keep our projects affordable and prices are based on consultation with previous members and parents. Contact us for costs of the workshops - There is a special reduction in price for those youngsters who wish to take part in all three of the weekly sessions! (excludes infant workshops) Ask us for details.

Fusion Director, Emma Nicholson, will be delivering a Creative Partnerships project in Middlethorpe Primary School in North East Lincolnshire from January 2008. The project will use puppetry to develop new ways of teaching children in the school.

In Easter 2008, members of Fusion Youth Theatre will travel to Accra, in Ghana, Africa and work with professional artists to learn African dance and music!
Fusion are once again working in association with Thin Red Line Productions in Lincoln to produce a short film, 'I Was Here'. Fusion Director Scott Middleton stars in the film which will be entered into international film festivals.

Fusion, in partnership with Tell Tale Hearts, have been contracted for the third year of the Drama Consultancy in North East Lincolnshire primary schools for the Council's Music & Performing Arts Service and the Grimsby Excellence Cluster.

This Christmas, the multi award winning Fusion Youth Theatre will present a delightful performance of Stuart Little, the popular story of the little white mouse, adopted into a new family.

Fusion are working with Foresight to create a piece of theatre which will be performed on board the Ross Tiger in October 2007. The company are working with a group of visually impaired actors to re-create life on board ship and how the boat is seen today.
Fusions recent tour of 'SatirEyes' in partnership with WaxBaby Productions has received some wonderful feedback since its performances in London and the Buxton Puppet Festival.
Performed by 4 puppeteers, supported by their tour manager and technician, the company produced a 40 minute production based on William Hogarths political masterpiece, The March of the Guards to Finchley.

Young People are invited to take part in this years summer school! Focusing on a strong ensemble performance devised by the group based on Egyptian themes, the course will also involve large scale art work, african music and creative writing.

We are now taking bookings for the BYTF 07! Set in the Beautiful Epping Forest just outside of London, the BYTF is four days of workshops, performances and celebrations! As well as performances, discussions, workshops, games and social events, BYTF will offer opportunities to work with some of the UK's foremost and distinct theatre arts practitioners.

The Multi Award Winning Fusion Youth Theatre present a 30 minute version of Shakespeare's famous play - 'Macbeth' as part of the Shakespare for Schools Festival in February 2007.

Fusion Theatre are creating a new youth theatrein partnership with Shooting Fish Theatre Company at the Ropewalk in Barton on Humber for children aged 8-16. The youth theatre is split into two age groups and will consist of on-going weekly sessions involving acting and theatre skills workshops, as well as rehearsals for productions. There is a £2 weekly charge for each participant.
Fusion is working with Thin Red Line Productions one their latest film production 'Tinman' We are holding auditions & interviews soon to build a reliable and talented team.

LEARNING THE ROPES AT A CITY PUPPET SCHOOL - Puppets win prizes! An award- winning drama group has clinched a financial boost to train with a top puppetry school. Fusion Theatre and Arts Productions has won a cash boost of £3,000 from Arts Council England to train with the London School of Puppetry in the autumn.
Fusion Theatre & Arts Productions Ltd have a new office space in Barton upon Humber, and their Grimsby based Fusion Youth Theatre will be moving to larger, warmer, brighter premises at the Central Hall!

A Staggering mix of music, arts and comedy is set to light up North East Lincolnshire this summer.
An impressive line-up of entertainment - covering a huge range of ages and tastes - is scheduled for the much- anticipated Arts Forum Festival. As previously reported, it will be one of the biggest arts events ever to come to the region, taking inspiration from the Edinburgh Fringe.

We are delighted to announce that Fusion is presenting a tour of ‘The Laramie Project’ in April 2006.
‘The Laramie Project’ is a breathtaking theatrical collage that explores the depths to which humanity can sink and the heights of compassion of which we are capable.

Fusion are working with Illuminate Youth Theatre in Gainsborough to create an exciting production of the comedy, 'The Thwarting of Baron Bolligrew' to be performed in March 2006.
26 young people will be performing this story of barons and dragons, where our unlikely hero, Sir Oblong Fitz Oblong, journeys to the Island of Baron Bolligrew to free the peasants and animals from his wicked ways.

Fusion Youth Theatre is now up and running, and will also be offering the Arts Award for Young People. This is a new scheme set up by the Arts Council England in association with Trinity Guildhall College of Music to enable young people to gain qualifications in the arts.
